Forest

Park Güell was originally planned to be a private upscale housing development commissioned by Eusebi Güell and designed by Antoni Gaudí. However, the project failed commercially, and the land was later turned into a public park.

Elephant

One of Gaudí’s iconic houses in Barcelona, Casa Batlló references Barcelona’s patron saint Sant Jordi (St. George) who, according to legend, slayed a dragon to protect the city. The top of the house shows the dragon stabbed by a sword, depicted by the cross, and the dragon’s victims depicted as skulls in the balconies.
Dragon slayer

Inspired by the rocky mountains of Montserrat in Catalunya, this is another one of the houses designed by Gaudí. George Lucas was inspired by the shapes at the top for the design of the storm troopers in Star Wars.
Earth

Rephrase this better: Despite the church’s medieval origins, its iconic façade is not Gothic, but rather neo-Gothic, and was actually completed in 1913.
